TriCron is a small software company in England. We build desktop tools for music producers and songwriters, focused on audio analysis and arrangement.
A desktop tool for music producers. It turns a finished track into a chord chart and instrument parts, ready for Band-in-a-Box and your DAW. Audio stays on your Mac; only a small summary of numbers is sent to our server.
Requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Windows will follow.
Founding-member access is by invitation.
For anything about TriCron or its software, email support@tricron.com.

This policy covers the desktop apps published by TriCron Limited and the online services they use. TriCron Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here.
Audio separation and analysis run on your computer. Your audio files are never uploaded. To produce a result, the app sends our server a small summary of numerical features derived from the audio (typically a few kilobytes), plus the notes from any MIDI parts you add. The audio features are not audio and cannot be played back. The server uses them to build your result and does not keep them after responding.
Our server runs on Microsoft Azure. Sign-in is provided by Google, under Google's privacy policy.
We keep account and usage records while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete these records within 30 days. Server request logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email support@tricron.com. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the app before they take effect.

These terms cover TriCron for Mac and the online service it uses ("the service"), provided by TriCron Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 9312796). By installing or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Access is currently free and by invitation. We may change, pause or end the service, or introduce paid plans, at any time. We won't charge you anything without telling you first and getting your agreement.
Only analyse recordings you own or have the right to use, such as your own productions, or tracks you generated with a service whose terms allow it. You keep all rights to your music and to the charts and parts the app makes from it. Your audio stays on your Mac; the privacy policy explains what the service receives.
Use the service for your own music work. Don't try to get around sign-in or usage limits, overload the service, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it. We may limit or suspend accounts that break these terms.
The app suggests chords and parts automatically. Results can be wrong, so check them by ear before relying on them.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, TriCron Limited isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Keep backups of your work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
